Scouring Sands (Aces) Complete Kit
Upgrade your Scouring Sands campaign with detailed canyons, rivers, bridges and rock formation "trenches". While we took some liberties, all hills mimic core shapes from box and the river provides shapes able to closely replicate mission layouts.
For the optional trenches, we decided to vary slightly from the box design. The goal of these terrain pieces is to slow down hovercraft and limit movement, Our Rock Formations can be played in place of trenches as either standard cover with rough terrain or a more direct usage counting as a level 1 height change to enter\exit. Regardless, this new style of terrain will enhance any table!
All of these terrain pieces also work seamlessly with the other Recon Terrain.
This kit offers:
8 x Large Hills (2" tall)
2 x Small Hills
2 x Medium Formations (optional)
2 x Large Formations (optional)
5 × straight river sections
4 × 45 degree river sections
2 x end cap
3 x "S" shaped
20 x clips
1 x trestle bridge
Style - Canyon
Canyons feature smooth sweeping edges with a layered look. The textured tops provide visual interest and great places for painting details.
Default Color - Desert Tan
A majority of the hills will stack on larger sizes which allows for more height coverage.
For Sizes:
Extra Large = 13” - 15” range
Large = 8” - 10” range
Medium = 5” - 7” range
Small = 3” - 5” range

Recon Terrain was designed to maximize the playability by featuring “flat” top surfaces, standard 1” increments, stackable sizes, and optimal cover.
